You Say Potato, I Say Nothing Until After Thorough Analysis

You know, I realize I some of my friends are annoyed by my analytical nature and tendency to get caught up in my head. But what I don't generally say to them is that I'm also annoyed by some people's seeming disregard or lack of respect for the non-"fun" things in life. There's no need to dwell unnecessarily on them or magnify them into huge, grievous trials, but I think it equally unhealthy to blow them off as if they don't matter. So while you're rolling your eyes at me, just remember that I would roll my eyes back but am too busy analyzing your flippant nonchalance--and my distaste for it--to bother rolling my eyes.
