Sissel

Sissel is simply good for my soul. My first introduction to her music was actually the MoTab Christmas concert a couple of years ago. That was definitely my favorite MoTab Christmas concert I've been to, and I highly recommend (in fact, insist on) adding the album, Spirit of the Season to your Christmas music collection. I fell in love immediately, and by the end, I was wishing she were single...and closer to my age...and lived within a couple thousand miles...'cause dang it, I'd ask her out in a heartbeat. She seems like such a classy lady, and beautiful, a consummate performer, a good-hearted person, and with a completely angelic voice.

Probably my favorite song of hers, originally done by...Abba?:

Vitae Lux, a performance which beautifully showcases her voice as well as her (and many of my ancestors') beautiful native language:

Can't Go Back (Better Off Alone) - SUCH a chick song, but the video's kinda fun, and it's an example of her more adult contemp style, and...I'll sheepishly admit to having identified with the lyrics a time or two...fine, I said it, happy?:

Interview about her appearances with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir:

All Good Things:

I will, Sissel, I will.
