I discovered Mardi Gras B.B. (Brass Band) (oh, and word of caution--I just now discovered that there are some not-so-wholesome pictures on their web site...dirty Europeans) on a collection of music from the Montreal International Jazz Festival in 2001. The song was Psychoflute (Well-Wicked Remix). While they're admittedly not a group I generally listen to at length (I usually listen to just a few of their songs at a time, maybe because of the sort of heavily industrial texture of it), they have such a colorful style which I immediately liked when I first heard it. I actually missed being able to see them live in concert by a couple of weeks when I went to Munich last year. One of these days, I'll hop the puddle again and see them and Beady Belle live. I found a bunch of their videos on YouTube, so I thought I'd share them in case any of you hadn't heard them and might be interested. I prefer listening to them over watching their videos. I kind of feel like I want to cleanse my eyes and brain after watching their videos, not because I've seen anything particularly objectionable in their videos but because they're just...grimy, which is obviously the aesthetic and tone they're going for, but it's not my cup of tea. I still enjoy their music, though (as I said, in small doses).

Well, I like most of the music you like, but . . . .
