Incidentally, I think a war on bullying is about as winnable as a war on terror. It will never end. To really deal with the issue, parents have to teach compassion to their children in their own homes, and more than that, they need to teach their children how to deal with the persecution they simply will face in their lives. The important thing is that every child and teenager knows there is somewhere to go, someone to turn to, someplace to be safe. Be someone's shelter and safety.
